Tampa Bay Fashion Week – Model Behavior Cocktail Reception
This past Wednesday was the second day of Tampa Bay Fashion week and we spent the evening and part of the night mingling among designers, models, directors, and fashion lovers in general at the Model Behavior Cocktail Reception.
As soon as I walked in, I heard laughter and music, saw camera flashes and very stylish people. Among these people was Cheryl Tiegs a model known for appearing on the covers of Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Sports Illustrated, Time and Vogue. Dozens of people lined up to take a picture with the beautiful Cheryl as she smiled and conversed with them.
I met up with my new friend Lexie, a fellow fashion lover who has modeled in shows everywhere from London to Milan. Check out Lexie’s Facebook page and see our picture below.
House of Dali at Tampa Bay Fashion Week
As the evening went on we got talk to all sorts of wonderful people. Among them was Dali Hernandez, a fashion designer for the woman that is sexy, edgy, sophisticated and trendy. I admire Dali for her hard work in preparing for her fashion show at Tampa Bay Fashion Week. Apparently, when you’re a designer, you are so busy that you don’t get much sleep the week of the event. House of Donshey at Tampa Bay Fashion Week
I was able to talk to Dolly from House of Donshey and admire her awesome headpiece; it brought so much character to her outfit. This is when I really wish I could wear headpieces and hats to my work place. House of Donshey is a custom millinery fashion label based out of Tampa, Florida and she was also one of the designers present at Tampa Bay Fashion Week. Check out House of Donshey’s website.
I was so fortunate to meet so many talented people. We wish everyone the best of the best and we look forward to seeing more of them. We would like to thank all of the people that made this event possible. Tampa Bay Fashion Week is definitely making some noise here in the Tampa Bay area and our designers are leaving their mark.
