Fashion Parkway Fashion Writer
Fashion Parkway is currently accepting applications to join our online fashion writer team. We are looking for committed writers with the writing skill to submit fresh content regularly to the Fashion Parkway Magazine section. A minimum of one article must be submitted each month. All applicants that make the team will have their articles displayed to the world with a rapidly growing audience via, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. All content submitted must be exclusive to Fashion Parkway and not duplicated on any other blogs, websites, or print media that you own or work with. Fashion Parkway currently gains an average close to 50 Twitter followers daily in readership, has over 3,200 subscribers on YouTube, and 3,400 fans on Facebook. (at the time of this posting)
Please note: We do not offer monetary compensation for submissions as a writer, however, we do offer sponsorship for your fashion blog by giving full credit to your blog with a link and brief bio.
Our increasing exposure through features in Refinery29 and various websites related to fashion have positioned Fashion Parkway to capitalize on expansion and growth. We have mobile apps set to launch this year with tablet versions of our magazine that will further expose our brand to over 90 countries worldwide. We value our team members and totally support all fashion bloggers and writers who are dedicated to the Fashion Parkway movement.
A Growing Audience for Today’s Fashion Writer
We understand that print media is decreasing in readership due to the increase in mobile app awareness and popularity. A fashion blog alone will not satisfy the fashion enthusiast and avid follower. I mean, let’s be honest, it is just easier and more appealing to read a magazine on an iPad or Galaxy Tablet, especially when you can tap the screen and a video or song pops up, right?
Teaming with Fashion Parkway is open to fashion interns as well as fashion bloggers. These are exciting times and we are ready to take on the challenge of leading the way for the future of fashion media. Take a look around our site to see what we mean. Before you embark on your fashion writing journey with us, please read our guidelines below.
The fashion blogger will write for the categories listed below at least, but not limited to, once a month. Please keep in mind that all articles must be exclusive and written solely for Fashion Parkway. In other words, an article submitted to Fashion Parkway must not be duplicated on any other blog or website. All posts must be written in English and the writer must show proper grammar and punctuation. If you’re accepted, you may also submit in other categories or you may give suggestions on categories not yet implemented in the site. Once approved by our staff, you will be given a fashion writer badge with a link to our site for you to place on your blog or share it on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Beauty – Beauty and makeup tutorials and reviews. (Must be at least 500 words)
- Fashion Trends – Do you KNOW fashion and the next trend? (Must be at least 500 words)
- Accessories – Let us see photos of your accessories.
- Looks & Style – Post your looks with a paragraph or two about your look.
- Vintage Fashion – This is for the fashion writer and fashion blogger that can’t keep away from their favorite thrift store. (Must be at least 500 words)
- Designer Spotlight – Attended a fashion show or interviewed a designer lately? (Must be at least 500 words)
- Fashion Editorials – Anything and everything related to fashion not found in the above categories. (Must be at least 500 words)
